The story of Behula-Lakhindor is one of the most famous story of the old Bengali fiction. Gokul Medh is a part of that fiction, also known as Lakhindar's Medh. It is situated in Bogra district under Rajshahi division. The place is named by the famous story of Behula Lakhindar.
